John Lemire

(Color Guard Director/Show Designer)

The Alter Ego Independent World Guard will be under the direction of John Lemire in 2011. This season will mark John's fourth year designing for the unit, and his second year as Director.

John started his career with Alter Ego in 2008, and is delighted to work and collaborate with such an amazing group of individuals on AE's 25th Anniversary production!

Patty Bush

(Color Guard Coordinator)

Patty Bush will return for her third year with Alter Ego as their Color Guard Coordinator. Patty handles a majority of the administrative tasks for the organization, and will also consult with the 2011 Independent World unit. Patty has worked very closely with John Lemire since they first met back in 2000. She worked with the Trumbull HS Marching Band and Winter Guard from 2002-2007, and served on the W.G.I. Advisory Board in 2007. With her marching and teaching career spanning over 20 years, Patty brings a fresh "eye" to the group and is very excited to be returning in 2011!

Jim Zulick

(Show Coordinator/Designer)

An alumni of Alter Ego, Jim Zulick will return for the guard's third year in World Class as Show Coordinator. Although Jim's marching career began as a musician in high school, he went on to join the Cadets in 2001 as a color guard member. He then had the honor of serving as the color guard captain in 2004 and drum major in 2005. During the winter Jim also marched with Alter Ego in 2002, St. John’s of Beverly in 2003 and Blessed Sacrament in 2006. He taught the Bethel High School Winter Guard from 2003-2005 and the Cheshire High School Marching Band & Color Guard staff from 2005 - 2009.

Jim currently resides in New Haven, CT where he also teaches and designs for Trumbull High School.

Philip Traini

(Designer)

Philip Traini will return for his third year with Alter Ego. Philip taught the Cheshire High School Color Guard from 2001 - 2009, and during that time they won numerous fall and winter championships including the 2006 WGI Scholastic Open Class Gold Medal. In 2007, 2008, and 2009 they were a Scholastic World Class Finalists. He has also taught many other groups including Newtown High School, Shelton HS, Salem Blue, St John's of Beverly, The Light Brigade and the Boston Crusaders.

Philip currently resides in New Haven, CT and he also teaches and designs for Trumbull High School.

Jackie Coladonato

(Technician)

Jackie Coladonato will return for her fourth season with Alter Ego. She was brought on board in 2008 and was a wonderful addition to the Alter Ego family. Jackie emits great positive energy to the guard and pushes them to reach their personal best! Having marched with Blessed Sacrament for many years, Jackie brings to the table a vast amount of technical knowledge in both the movement and equipment aspects of the activity.
